Ms. Meiling Zhou is a founder of United Education Group and the principal of United Youth Enrichment School. She received a BA degree of Chinese Language and Literature from Fudan University, China as well as a MS degree in Computer Science in the United States. She has many years of experience as a teacher and curriculum developer. She is chief author of school textbooks and is devoted to find out how to get the best effect of Chinese teaching in an English environment.
   
Ms. Shelagh Liu, the vice principal of UYES, is a founder of weekend school programs. She received a BA degree from Jiangxi Normal University, China and was an excellent teacher in China. She has taught Chinese in the UK and USA. She has much experience in the Chinese teaching area. As far as she is concerned, Chinese teaching should focus on the interest of the American students and emphasize the liveliness and vitality.
   
Mr. Tony Acosta graduated from UC Berkeley. He served the City of Oakland, California for 23 years in the recreation field, culminating in his service as Director. After a brief stint as a private consultant, Tony has joined the City of Union City as Deputy City Manager and Leisure Services Director for 6 years. Tony has developed a strong reputation for creativity, project and employee relation expertise.
   
Ms. Helen Kennedy holds a B.S. in Business Administration. She is the founder and principal of Kennedy Consulting Services with over 15 years of marketing experience ranging from planning through execution. Kennedy’s skills include development of marketing plans, research and analysis, public relations, and strategy and business development.
   


We have a group of highly qualified teachers. All Chinese teachers are native Chinese with college degrees and above. They have graduated as Chinese Language and Literature majors or from Normal University, for example, from Fudan University, Beijing University, Beijing Normal University, Shenyang Normal University, Beijing Foreign Language College, etc. Also, all teachers of enrichment classes hold a related degree and they are all professionals. Most of them were teachers in China. They are bilingual, experienced and hardworking teachers. Every summer, the teachers are trains according to school’s curriculum requirement.
